
Serge Therrien (Hydro-Québec)
With more than 20 years of progressive and diverse management experience in project management, training, Lean Six Sigma continuous improvement approaches and innovation. He has achieved exceptional results in complex operational environments through the establishment of a culture of accountability and the training of high-performance teams.
Some highlights of his career:
- development of training content and Lean Six Sigma certification pathways as a manager in continuous improvement, director of Lean transformation, and director of operational efficiency in companies with 3,000 to 20,000 employees;
- delivery of training in acceleration practices, coaching and facilitation of numerous workshops for optimizing administrative, repair and maintenance processes, manufacturing (textiles, agriculture) and in the field of transport (air and rail) across Canada, the States -United and Honduras;
- currently delegate – strategy and performance management at Hydro Quebec (Transportation and equipment division), and lecturer at McGill University (Lean for health, Lean for utilities, and Six Sigma).
Holder of an MBA for executives and DESS in management consulting and the following certifications: Master Black Belt Lean Six Sigma, Expert Entreprise Lean, Green Belt Six Sigma Plus (Honeywell), Green Belt Value Based Six Sigma (ITT), Project Management Professional (PMP) and Scrum Master I.
